The myth of the Minotaur involves a monstrous creature with the body of a man and the head of a bull, born to Queen Pasiphae of Crete after she falls in love with a bull sent by the god Poseidon. King Minos, Pasiphae's husband, imprisons the Minotaur in a labyrinth built by the architect Daedalus. Every nine years, Minos demands Athens send seven young men and women as sacrifices to the beast. The hero Theseus volunteers to stop the killings, enters the labyrinth with the help of Minos' daughter Ariadne, and kills the Minotaur, ending the cycle of sacrifice.
In modern retelling of the story, it’s implied that Ariadne didn’t betray Minos and the Minotaur out of love for Theseus, but because she wants to end the Minotaur’s suffering. In these case the Minotaur’s existence is tragic instead of that of a mere monster, and Ariadne’s feelings for him is that of a sister torn apart by her half-brother’s fate. (Read "The Children of Daedalus" by Katrina E. Duthie)
Daedalus was the creator of the labyrinth in which the Minotaur was imprisonned, as commanded by King Minos. To prevent him from revealing the labyrinth’s secrets, or as a punishment after the Minotaur was killed, Minos imprisonned him and his son Icarus on the island of Crete (or inside his own labyrinth in some version). As a way for his son to escape, Daedalus devised wings made of feathers and beeswax. He forbid his son to fly too close to the sun, but Icarus became overconfident, soared too high, and the heat melted the wax on his wings. He fell into the sea and drowned, while Daedalus managed to escape to safety.

Skys, like the Minotaur, was cast out from society because he was born “cursed”. His curse (the rare mutation of Radiogenic Leukotrichia) is a result of humans offending the natural order by using nuclear weapons, basically offending a god like Minos offended Poseidon.
In this theory, we assume that the Russian Poem (дорогая моя любовь.doc) is a letter from Skys as S. to a woman whose name begins with A. There’s a mention of a labyrinth in the poem (“the labyrinth of my dreams”), a general feeling of being alone.
In the myth, Ariadne is the Minotaur’s half sister, and helps Theseus to kill him. As claimed above, in some retelling of the story, she acts out of mercy for the poor creature and wants to put it out of its misery. In our theory however, Ariadne mixes both of these ideas : she wants to destroy the part in him that’s a monster, but ends up killing him in the process. It’s implied here that “A.” knew Skys as a human being, rather than the abusive and cruel scientist we now know about. In that case, the Skys that’s now dead is the musician who was cast out as a kid, and what’s left is the monster within (who may be Victor Carmine, see Victor Carmine for this theory).
Additional information : the Minotaur’s name is Asterios or Asterion, which means “coming from the stars”. There’s a strong connection between Skys and the stars, either because of “Sky & the Starjammers” (Sky_&_The_Starjammers.png) or because of Oli’s cryptic instagram posts (Oli Sykes Instagram).

In the myth, King Minos rose to power thanks to Poseidon’s help, but betrays his trust. While we don’t exactly have anyone matching the role of Poseidon (as we don’t exactly know how Skys managed to become the guru we see in Mantra, even though it’s implied in the Music Video that some people helped him) we know that Skys was linked to Dallus Lauren and Karl Strassman.
Dallus Lauren is obviously Daedalus, the creator of the labyrinth in the myth. Not only does his name match, but his son’s name (Ikaro) also matches Daedalus’s son’s name “Icarus”. King Minos asked for Daedalus’s help to hide the Minotaur as soon as it was born, but then betrayed him by trapping him and his son inside said labyrinth. In our theory, the labyrinth itself would be The Cult of Mantra and its brainwashing methods, or their scientific experiments.
What about Persiphae, Minos’s wife ? She would be the “A.” that’s been referred to in the russian poem. While Ariadne would be a convenient answer to “who is A. ?” due to her initial, we can point out that nor “Minotaur” nor “Asterios/Asterion” begins with an S. We’ll leave it as that.
In this theory, the representation of the white taurus would be Karl Strassman. For multiple reasons : 1) His white hair, 2) His connection to Skys/Minos and the Cult of Mantra, 3) What we’re about to say about the Minotaur itself.
We know that the pink mutation of Radiogenic Leukotrichia is hereditary ; there’s a strong chance that every single person we’ve met in this ARG with pink hair (so, actually 2 of them) are blood related. So Selene is Skys’s daughter, and inherited her pink hair from him.
