Who They Are: Ikaro, known as Ren, is Dallus Lauren’s child and a brilliant mind in their own right. Ren is responsible for creating the entire 8-line, including the wonderful M8 (thanks so much for that, by the way), and for activating EVE, which changed everything. But I’ve found conflicting evidence about their gender, so I’m not even sure.
Where From: Likely Novosovia, but they spent most of their life at NEX GEN.
Status: Missing/Dead/Idk.
Significance: Ren’s inventions are pivotal in shaping everything NEX GEN is popular for today. Their connection to EVE and the 8-line makes them one I need to keep an eye on.

Ren may have created E.V.E.’s current body
He may also be the creator of the 3 robots, though R8 may be too sophisticated & old for him
His armour is a reference to Metal Gear Solid
As per from the booklet, Ren is transgender. There’s a strong chance that he’s the one we talk about in the Jan15_2031_declassified__PROJECT D.U.S.T. 2 file. In that case, he struggled with mares at least during his childhood.
Ren might be inspired by Icarus. (see The Minotaur Theory)
DArkSide might be about Ren and his struggles. It’s reinforced by the Spotify visuals showing the fall of Icarus.
