Note : you can find the entire transcription of the Diary above, in another page, along with the original pictures. This is just a quick recap.
This narrative follows a so called “technician”, whose name we later learn is “Raziel”. As he was researching a way to fight the epidemic of depression in the youth, he finally managed to create a drug called “Ascendence”. This attracted the attention of Topheth, a mysterious organization that offered him to pay for his researches, and provide him with human test subjects.
Turns out that Topheth doesn’t want to cure depression, but rather to create weapons. The subjects they provide all have psychic powers, that they want to use for a military purpose. Raziel was betrayed by Topheth and used as a subject too. When he realized what happened, he decided to share the secrets with the entire world and disappeared. He eventually reappeared a month later, his body destroyed, but his spirit inside Giu’s head. That’s where he launches an attack on Topheth with the escaped subjects ; we don’t hear about Topheth after that, so we can assume that they were destroyed (or maybe rebranded).
Raziel is one of the Angels of Kabbalah’s name, and his precise mission in this order is to reveal secrets, so…what he does here. As the collection is called “Angelslayer”, it may be the reason why.
Raziel’s employer (or so it seems) is called “Samael”, another reference to the Kabbalah. Samael is a fallen angel later known as “Satan”. As it is a bit hard to recap his figure here, I’ll leave you with wikipedia.

The four test subjects/kids are named after four demons :
The very first thing we can link to our ARG is the visuals of Raziel’s Diary : it is exactly the same used for all the written files we’ve read so far : the Insights, CAPSLOCK, the diaries etc. The font and style of formating match…but this particular DropDead collection was released roughly 2 years before we even guessed that there was a lore behind the Post Human series.
Funnily enough, sTraNgeRs was released in early July 2022 (06/07/2022) while this collection was launched at the end of the month (21/07/2022) and then relaunched one month later (24/08/2022). We know that sTraNgeRs is entirely part of our lore, and Oli already confirmed that he was thinking about a lore way before he showed us what it was. Around that time too, BMTH’s live shows started to have some kind of narrative, even if it wasn’t as developped as what we have today.
