I finally did it…after all these years of blood, sweat and tears !
Today I finished the viable sample of my pioneering drug. I call it “Ascendance”.
Using a combination of Hyoscine, Luciferase & Traumatic Acid, it actually blocks the neurotransmitters in the brain, has an immediate effect on the aura, & reduces both mental and physical trauma.

I hope it will cure the epidemic of depression, make our species become more connected to one other and, as lame as it may sound, make the world a better place.
I will carry it back and start detailed investigations immediately.

I have been approached by an organisation called ‘Topheth’ who are extremely interested in Ascendence.
I nearly lost my lunch when they told me how much they were prepared to offer to further my research…oh boy!

They had a lot of questions, most of them made no sense. And one of them kept talking about if it was safe for children. He gave me the creeps. I have no idea how they knew about my research too…

Day one at my new job. I can’t believe I’ve gone corporate. This facility is unreal! What’s more, I’ve discovered a way to build a new medicine type with Ascendence as a base.
Mixing it with leech DNA was the breakthrough I needed… But I can’t hope for real progress by experimenting on mere rodents.
Only humans can be a proper mammalian subject for the experiments. Otherwise, I’ll never make any significant advancement…

KIDS! The subjects they’ve brought to me are kids! Are they out of their minds?! What’s more, they have them bound by the wrists, and seemingly already drugged! The two they brought to me could hardly even speak.

Experiments are progressing expeditiously. The four subjects, Buer, Giu, Preda & Xaphan are all responding remarkably to Ascendence Beta. I have full dominance over them; every command I make they acquiescently follow.
