Just to add youtopia really seems like a full dive VR type system (if anyone is aware of sword art online pretty much exactly like that) they go into the dreamseeker pods, get pumped up with likely pusse or a similar substance and “invoke youtopia” so like a hallucination or a “trip”. This also makes me think if nex gen wanted to they could easily keep people in youtopia and not get them out of the pods, I think a lot of this story is going to take place IN youtopia We also know per Dr Strassman a lot of the people in youtopia are struggling from organ failure and psychosis etc..I wonder if their actual bodies is what it suffering but in youtopia they are thriving, OR if their bodies and the consciousness is both suffering so they are in youtopia and essentially broken down
Ah yes I was referring to SAO earlier when we were talking about Youtopia ! And same as SAO the people can't escape from here or they'll die, so they have to destroy Youtopia from the inside 👀
What if YOUtopia is the state between life and death where if you ascend, you enter heaven and the afterlife, living peacefully and if you aren't worthy of ascending, you simply die or fall to hell This would line up with as above, so below, yin & yang, sun & moon, heaven & hell, angel & devil etc
I believe that YOUtopia is Selene talking about YOUtopia. We didn't think about that tbh, & there's NO CLEAR EVIDENCE that it's Selene. Especially since there's absolutely no woman voice although they could have added some if necessary, + Selene is supposed to be AGAINST Youtopia. But there's not enough evidence to rule out that theory nonetheless.
in the end of YOUtopia track you can here “What was it like?” from someone in the room, and Selene responds “It's like I walked into a dream, and stepped out of the coma”. This supports their theory though, & supports the theory that Selene can enter & leave Youtopia at will without having the side effects other subjects have.
