Oli here is shot in the middle of the forehead, just where a 3rd eye could be. We don’t see him with a 3rd eye though.
The room looks a lot like a classroom, US style like depicted in dramas with individual chairs. If we follow our ‣ /Scott theory and place this in 2037, this may be because Scott is a teen during LosT & we needed a way to remember that.

Oli here has white highlights in his hair, which he doesn’t have for long in that time period irl. This may indicate a test on him about Leukotrichia, and can be an argument to claim Leukotrichia was a Nex Gen thing to begin with.

If Suicide Season is linked and it’s an album from Skys’ band “Sky & the Starjammers”, then the reference to Chelsea Smile is a canon event and not just an easter egg.
the intro lyrics state that "My dog just died my friends hate me" -> according to Scott Diary, his dog died as in the song "dear diary”. This will roughly put LosT in fall-winter 2037 (unlikely) or 2038 after he survived the bite and before being a cyborg/synth, Scott will then be around 17 if we assume that he shares the same birth date as Oli (in november) so still of school age.
Scott is walking into a room where people seem to be forced to watch at something. It has been established that when a character sees the past, their eyes turn white. They are also forced to look at war/apocalyptic images, indicating that the apocalypse has already happened (so post VSPR-37 outbreak) I'm guessing spring/summer 2038 at least, refining time line (also it's seems like the weather is nice outside). October 2037 being just the begining in Scott's diary, it will be a few months for the world to have time to destroy itself.
it seems like GAIA would only exist after the outbreak so my top two theories are 1: this is a facility for people infected that they are trying to heal taking part of their brain in the process for personal gain or fully taking and replacing their brains with a robotic version. This could also mean giving an AI entity a human body.
OR This is a facility made for people who have suffered the side effects of trying to ascend to youtopia, brain thing could follow into this theory as well since the were doing something with the brain I’m guessing either fully taking and replacing it or just taking the pineal glands
